Link's bomb bag contains 40 bombs. They have a limited blast radius but can easily break down weak spots in walls or even open up hidden cracks in the earth.
A treasure passed down through the Royal Family of Hyrule, this is a very magical item. While songs have power of their own in Hyrule, certain ones will only work when played on this instrument, the most notable being the Song of Time.
Later known as The Hero's Bow (and significantly swanked up) in other Zelda games, this is Link's bread and butter when it comes to hunting things. Poes, points in projectile games, even phantom creations of evil kings, the bow shoots them all down. His quiver holds 50 arrows.
Link is also able to enchant his arrows with Fire, Ice and Light spells, as explained in his abilities section.
Acquired while plumbing the depths of the Water Temple and fighting his own reflection, the Longshot enables Link to latch onto certain surfaces and span distances via the chain mechanism within. It works underwater and has a very sharp tip.
It's a good thing Link has swanky gauntlets that allow him to lift unbelievably heavy things. The Megaton Hammer is as weighty as its name suggests. It can crack hard exoskeletons, boulders, floor and wall panels. Due to its heavy weight, it's a very slow weapon to use.
Created by a man who lived in Kakariko Village back when it was a Sheikah-only village, the Lens of Truth was retrieved from draining the well and killing the Dead Hand within. This magical artifact slowly drains Link's magical energy as it is used, but allows him to see things as they really are while he has it activated. Illusions and tricks are rendered useless while this artifact is on. Thanks, creepy Sheikah man!
Look at Link's arms. Now back to the gigantic shard of volcanic rock. Now back to Link's arms. Now back to the rock. The rock is now in his hands. Look up. The rock is now sailing through the air. Back to Link. He hasn't broke a sweat. The rock is now tiny bits of rubble. He's on a horse.
The Golden gauntlets allow Link to lift extremely heavy things and toss them around like they're nothing. He can't move while holding these things if they're really massive, but he can still toss them about.
Given to Link for being rly rly good at fishing, Link can now dive quite far down in deep water. There is actually a measuring scale to show how far down he can go but do I look like I have the time to convert that and worry if it's metric or not? No. I'm too busy filling out every single item he's bringing to a text based RPG game.
Link can carry up to 40 of these at one time. When thrown on the ground, Deku nuts crack loudly and produce a blinding light, freezing the affected in place and/or momentarily blinding them. Used for getting an edge in battle or being a Sheikah and pulling vanishing acts.
Thankfully without the way too chatty spirit residing inside of it this time around. The Master Sword, also known as The Blade of Evil's Bane, is a Big Deal in Hyrule. It's a holy weapon and can be used to seal evil away.
As well as being an extremely tough shield, the Mirror Shield can reflect things very effectively. Not just light - it can absorb certain magical spells and even fire them back at people.
The Kokiri Tunic, adult sized for some reason even though all Kokiri are kids. This is Link's default tunic.
The Goron Tunic absorbs heat and allows Link to walk around even in the most heated of areas. Strangely, it doesn't make him immune to fire, which is really so much BS if you ask me.
The Zora Tunic allows Link to breathe underwater indefinitely. Presumably it looks a lot more like its Twilight Princess counterpart and has a mask that goes over his face, but since that isn't official we will just have to sigh and imagine it. Wow. That would've been great.
There sure are heavy boots. They let Link sink underwater and traverse the bottom of lakes and temples. They also make him heavy enough not to get blown off course by strong gales.
These sure are the worst item in the game. The hover boots let Link hover in the air for a couple of seconds. They're also extremely slippy and make him slide off of platforms if you're not careful, and make the fight against the dungeon boss an absolute nightmare.
